Elizabeth's Photo

My performances embrace an eclectic mix of disciplines and styles. My career was launched with a devotion to the study of classical music, from medieval to contemporary, with an emphasis on ensemble music. But through the years I have incorporated many other styles, according to my own curiosity and a creative response to the demands of various performance environments. The requests of the youngest to the aging generations have guided the evolution of my repertoire from a handful of Classical sonatas and Romantic impromptus to a wildly diverse selection of works. In addition to classical music, I play New Age music, popular American standards, Irish traditional dance tunes and slow airs, Argentine tango music, Broadway and Hollywood hits, and an enormous variety of sacred music from multiple traditions. I am constantly incorporating new styles and expanding my repertoire. The listings and audio clips here are necessarily only representative, and I have included only a sampling of the more esoteric classical repertoire that only other harpists are likely to know or appreciate. Please feel free to inquire about any selections not listed here that interest you.
